It’s a 30 & fabulous masquerade birthday party for my daughter Tanya and boy was it fun ! The colors were black, gold and turquoise with lots of sparkle with some masks we picked up at the dollar store. We bought lots of mask and put them everywhere. What made this party special were all the details. Everything matched perfectly right down to the beautiful feathered dress Tanya wore. Their was a beautiful decorated dessert table, a champagne bar with assorted fruits, and pasta and salad for dinner. We had karaoke so Tanya and her friends sang all night long. A beautiful and elegant event I am sure Tanya or her friends will never forget.
When it comes to gift wrapping I am a pack rat. I keep everything, even the Trader Joes bags, which I think are really pretty. I also scout out after Christmas sales and buy all the craft style close outs for the next year. The craft printed paper( top left ) is from Home Goods. The red & white bakers twine I bought for $12.99 at a craft store. I paper punch my own tags, and stamp them. I keep all my pretty papers in boxes and bring them out to see what I have. Then I just mix and match all my wrappings.
I used the Trader Joes bags for the tops of my jars and for wrapping small presents, with the red & white stripe bakers twine. I also love to top of my gifts with vintage toys I find all year-long, and candy canes from the dollar store. The gift below I used fir, and an old white envelope. Pretty simple wrappings, and that way I can spurge on the gifts.
That’s a wrap !
Have a wonderful Holiday Season.
This is what you will need for a Witches money bottle spell.
1. an clear wine bottle.
2. a tag with a skull stamped on it. I bought this stamp at Micheal’s.
3. any kind of charm you have.
4. white bakers twine
5. an old wine bottle cork.
6. any money spell you like, I found this one on Pinterest. Print it in black & white.
Clean your clear bottle. Tie your paper sheet spell in a roll and wrap it with the twine. Distress it with tea stain, or distressing ink. Put it in the bottle with the cloves. Tie the twine around the top several times.
The tag I got from a garage sale but I have seen these at staples or Micheal’s. Distress the tag with tea or distress ink, and write on it with black pin, the tittle of your spell. Cut the cork so it fits your size bottle.
I am going to use these bottles for my apothecary table. This whole project costs less than $12.00. Since this project is so cost effective , I have made many potions bottles, different labels and wine bottles.
Her is the start of my apothecary table for my witches kitchen,..still need to add just a few more items.
And here is my apothecary table at my boutique space.
My boutique space is located at the VINTAGE VENDETTA which is located at 126 B. Main street, Lake Elsinore. Ca 92530.
Have a great week !

Good morning, it’s cool and overcast here , the perfect day to make a witches broom. I said I was going to make brew bottles next, but I decided since this project was so inexpensive and easy to make ,I would do a witches broom. What you will need. Rustic twine, raffia (I bought mine from Wal-Mart for $ 1.99), an old stick, mine was from my trees.
I found these in the lawn trash pile and thought these were so enchanting.
Open your raffia fold it in half and gather it at the top.
Attach the raffia at the bottom of the stick and leave room to tie the twine.
Tie the twine around the raffia and stick several times, and finish it off with a knot. Trim the bottom of the raffia so it’s nice and even.
This entire project cost me less than $6.00 to make. And it looks so much more enchanting that the ones you would purchase. This one is perfect for my witches kitchen !
Lot’s more witch projects to come. <| : }
Get ready for the Harvest Moon tonight. The harvest moon is the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox. For us Californians it’s Sept 18th. A great time to get some great photos, if you have a good camera. This is also a special time to make new goals, light a white or lavender candle and say your intention to the full moon, she will listen and grant you your wishes. But only if you believe in her sacred feminine powers.
Have a great night,
