And when the sun went down it was the most magical moment of the night…
…the 1st dance…
I love vintage embellished dresses for events, and I have been buying them for my boutique space. But this one I fell in love with, so I put it on my dress form and took some pictures. This dress is a size 6 and it has a long zipper in the back so it is easy to get into. The details on this dress is amazing, and it’s perfectly intact. I think this dress is perfect for a spring wedding. I will be selling dresses like this on my blog soon. Yes this one is available so if you are interested send me an email.
Have a fun week ! xoxo
I have bee in the market for a Vintage velvet sofa for a prop for a photo booth. When I walked into this thrift store over the weekend I was excited to see this beauty. The perfect color for a photo booth that I am doing in June. The wedding colors are going to be coral and gray. I will be using this sofa in my boutique space in the mean time as a display. Sometimes lady luck is right by your side.
This sofa is available for layaway at Vintage Vendetta at 126 b main street Lake Elsinore.
Have a fun week . : )
Styling event posters has been something I have been doing a lot lately. So I decided to show you how to create one. The 1st thing I did was lay all these tea items on a table on a open white frame. This is for an upcoming tea we will be having at my new studio & boutique. I used natural light coming in from my kitchen window. I took about six shots. I liked this one the best.
Next I lighten and contrasted the photo so the colors pop. I used a simple Photoshop I downloaded for free. Picasa 3.
Next I added this overlay from Picasa 3 ,called Comic Book. It creates these cute little dots and soften the photo.
I added the text last. I love to use a soft script font with a readable font. I always use the colors that are on the photo so to give the entire poster a cohesive look. I wanted this poster to look fresh, inviting and romantic. Maybe I should have added some cookies.
I will be hosting a Christmas tea at “The Paper Mystique,” this Sat Dec. 15th 11am to 3pm. At Old town Lake Elsinore, at Maria’s Antiques.
I decided to use grays and creams , and a touch of red. I also have made 22 cup & 12 cup tag bags of my Winter Blend, that will be available for purchase. This gray creamer and sugar was a gift from Tanya last Christmas, from Anthropologies.
The teacup was a find from my local Antique Mall. All our Christmas will be on sale. Should be a fun event…
hope you have an enchanting weekend !
xoxo Sacred Cheryl
