A Magical Green table…

Silver and green is one of my favorite combinations and with a canvas table clothe it’s the perfect setting for March… I purchased this center piece from Roger’s Garden in Newport Beach for their Christmas sale. I think it looks like spring.

I have mixed my antique silver with a coffee creamers set Tanya bought for me from Anthro. I like to  have cappuccino in theses cute little cups for breakfast.

This old silver tureen I purchased at Maria’s Antiques,  is perfect for my fresh strawberries.

And what makes this table magical is this old green candle holder with a white candle….

and the cute little brown sparkle bird hidden in the ivy.

I stacked my everyday green plates with my everyday salad plates and a flower white china plate edged in gold….

…..

These napkin rings are from Anthro also and a present from Darrill’s mom. They are silver and gold.

The menu is on my kitchen chalkboard that I made, now…  breakfast is served…

I hope I have inspired you to create a Magical Green table

Have a simply enchanting Month…

Colors I am loving for 2012…

The colors I am loving for 2012 are tans, grays and whites. This bedroom is for sweet dreams and a little bit of magic as all  your dreams come true.

I went to the after Christmas sales and bought all the white, silver and gold ribbons, candles and napkins . And lots of silver bulbs from Restoration and Hardware.

I like the style of this room…simple and chic !

Today I wore Black and tan and I felt so simply chic. I think natural colors are easy to group together and always look so classic  as seen on my pinterest !  Hope you have a wonderful weekend and good luck shopping !

Old Town Riverside for cupcakes…

We went to Old Town Riverside this weekend to visit the Mission Inn and to get some of Casey’s Cupcakes…

I love this place it brings out your inner girly side, and the cupcakes are great…. Mission Inn-based Casey’s Cupcakes and Cappuccinos was the winner of this months edition of “Cupcake Wars” on the Food Network. How fun is that.

I like to have events here at the Mission Inn and I always use Casey’s Cupcakes. Here’s the table for Tanya’s 27th birthday and I had a different cupcake for each guest, and the girls loved them !

Hope everyone has a wonderful week

Saving my jars and wine bottles…

I was inspired to save my jars and clear wine bottles to create a really dramatic display like these here in this photo which I got from Pinerest…simply enchanting…

and with some white candles you can have a fantastic display !!

I saved bottles for almost 6 months for my daughters bridal shower which was a french theme, and the simple clear wine bottles with the white candles were a hit all the girls took them home. We also used the  corks as the  name holders.
